A visitation for Wanda will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Wanda “Jean” Johnson, 86, of Lutz, passed away on August 2nd, in Land O Lakes, Fl

Wanda Jean Johnson was born in Cincinnati, OH to Ruby Ida Guffey on Oct 27th, 1937. She went to school in Albany, KY She married Donald A Johnson on March 2nd, 1957 in Nahunta, GA. She was a housewife and homemaker. She was involved in the Letter Carriers auxiliary, Eastern Star, Alarka Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and Swain County Hospital volunteers.

Wanda Jean Johnson is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald A Johnson.

Wanda Jean Johnson is survived by daughter Mary J Whitworth (Bruce), son William A Johnson (Rose), grandchildren Maclean Whitworth and Sarah Johnson, cousin Sandy Uribe and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 3-4pm, Friday, August 16th at Blount & Curry Funeral Home- Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 33618, followed by a Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Brendle Cemetery, Bryson City, NC at 12 Noon, September 7th. Arrangements are by Crisp Funeral Home, 669 US Hwy 19, Bryson City, NC 28713
