Terry Lee Sanchez

He Retired from Verizon after many years as an equipment technician. He served his country for four years in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Brunswick, Georgia and Guantanamo Bay Cuba. He was an avid member of the Brandon Wood Workers Club having won many awards for his work. He was a little league coach and umpire at Southeast Little League for 11 years. In his later years after retirement he was on a bowling league at Brandon Crossroads for 10 years. He loved his family, the beach, and Rays baseball.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Maggie Claybourne; father, Odulio Sanchez. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, MaryLu Sanchez; mother, Grace Sanchez; sister, Susie Rambeau (Mitch); children, Jennifer Pate (Jared), Paul Sanchez (Shannon); grandchildren, Rachel (Jacob), Colt, Taylor (Zach), Brooke, Jake, Josh; and great-granddaughter, Ruby.

A Memorial Service for Terry will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
