Susan Hamilton Almand peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2018. She is survived by her four children, sons Barry (Annell), Kenneth (Toria), Landis (Lisa), and daughter Lauri Almand Hofschneider. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Susan attended Hillsborough High School then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa, then went on to teach elementary school for many years in Hillsborough County. She was actively involved in her church and made many life-long friendships. Services will be at 11:00am on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Belmont Baptist Church, with visitation at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at Garden of Memories in Tampa.
