Rodney, Brian, Yvonne and the entire family,
Shirley was a joy to know and such a sparkle of personality. She was a rare person who immediately made me feel comfortable around her.  I do hope your memories give you some peace and maybe even a smile during these difficult times.  With much love, you have my sympathy.

To Rodney and the Family, Shirley was more than a Co-Worker at The Hartford. She was a Dear Friend who will truly be missed. I spent more than 25 years working with Shirley sharing our Careers and Life's Journey. Shirley was fun, loved life and lived life to the fullest. She was dedicated to her Family and talked about you guys often. Shirley was and will always be special to all who knew her and got to spend time in her presence.  You are in my prayers and thoughts daily. I hope that time, Shirley's amazing Life and her memories will be your comfort in days to come.  
  

Shirley was not just a coworker, she was a living, warm, kind and funny person. Whether doing cartwheels  down the isle, picking me up, showing us her inventions (like her lipstick carry case) or learning her first cell phone - she always left me in stitches.

Shirley was so much more than a co-worker, she a loving, loyal, kind and funny friend I always counted on . I will continue to cherish every memory and laugh shared with her. She was just so funny and loved to make people laugh, whether doing cartwheels down the isle, making a lipstick holder, or learning to use her first cell phone. The best laughs in Tampa included her - always.  
I cannot believe she is gone, and will love her forever. 

I keep her family and friends in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Dear Rodney and Family,
I  had the fortunate pleasure of Shirley's friendship. We shared many years together driving to our Hartford GNO dinners on the third Wednesday of the month. She was a classy lady with a beautiful red lipstick smile! She will forever be in my heart. Lifting you up for peace and healing. 

I was blessed to know Shirley for 33 years of which 20 of those years we were co-workers.  You could always count on Shirley to brighten your day and make you laugh (even when that may not have been her intent!).  She was an amazing friend and lived a remarkable life to the fullest.  She was with me through all of my adult life milestones and it’s hard to imagine a world without her.  I loved her dearly and she will be missed!  My love and condolences to her family.

We met this wonderful lady on a Southern Rock Cruise the year she fell and broke her wrist getting out of the bus at the ship terminal. Rodney was so sweet that when he wasn’t on stage performing or eating on the Lido deck he was in the cabin with his love. It was very apparently he was completely smitten with his wife. Love and prayers for the entire Justo family and friends. I’m sorry for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful person. It was a joy getting to meet her during ARS shows here in Vegas several years ago. It was an even greater joy for my son, Daniel, to be able to help her fix her iPhone problems and then get to hang out with her and the band back in 2016. Rest In Peace, Shirley.

In August 2018 we had dinner at the Columbia restaurant in Tampa with Rodney and Shirley.  We were in town for my spine surgery and we were so excited that Rodney made time to visit with us. We were so happy to meet Shirley. She was so kind and funny, we felt like we had known her forever!  You could tell Rodney and Shirley were soulmates. We are so happy to have this memory of her. The first time I met Shirley was when my Primo Rodney was playing a concert. I walked up to Shirley and introduced myself and told her I’m Rodney’s Primo. Well let me tell you, the questions started to fly and I felt like I was at the  "Spanish Inquisition". She final said ok, you passed and we started talking about the family and had a wonderful time talking. She always made me smile and always gave me abrazos y pequeno beso! Just loved talking with her and sharing family stories and laughing with her. Seeing the pictures posted online, I just smile each and every time. She will be dearly missed. So thankful for the time we spent together!

This is how I remember our Shirley and our band wives group. We were always laughing and loudly.

I worked with Shirley for over 20 years. Her outgoing spirit and sense of humor were like no other. She was like the fun Aunt you couldn't spend enough time with. If you were stressed she could always find a way to change your mood. I have never laughed so hard during lunches then with her and will always cherish our girls nights. I loved her very much and will truly miss her.

She was a very hard-working person and liked to be always happy. She helped everyone at work and also  personally. She always had a smile on her face and was very responsible.  38 years with The Hartford Insurance and gone so soon.  We are going to miss her very much.

My heart goes out to Rodney and the family. So sorry for your loss.  I've known Shirley since our early teens.  Can't believe she is gone.  Always enjoyed being with her.  She was always happy and fun to be with.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

I still cannot believe this has happened. I will always have such wonderful memories of Shirley. It's hard to put into words what a great person she was and Shirley will always be in my heart. RIP my friend.

I was interviewed by Shirley.    Spent about half hour.   Very professional.    But did Apparently leave an impression on her.    I was hired because she fought   for me.    After working there a bit she told she wanted me to be there. She said I could of been dumb as a stump but Wanted to see my beautiful smile everyday  she was right I have a beautiful smile.  Needless to say it worked out for-me.    She too was a big Halloween fan and each year we did something special.   I owe her so much.    Girl I give you two snaps up and in z formation. She was the best 2nd mom I could ever have asked for. She was always a great source of love and comfort since I was a little girl. She was the "fun Mom" affectionately known as "wicked." I have many wonderful memories as she was very artistic and could draw, do pottery & Stained glass, as well as sew. I was impressed at how she could  twirl & throw a baton the air and catch it. She was adventurous and even went skydiving once.  She was also a fantastic cook:we had her homemade Spaghetti on many Sundays, which were family nights. She taught me how to play jacks, (& the many variations)and we played all kinds of board games as a family over the years. She gave me many great recipes and often advice. She loved to travel and so we all took a trip to Spain together when I was working for the airlines. She was always full of laughter and fun. There is just so much more I could say about all of the great memories, that it would fill up many pages. She was amazing with my daughter and all of her grandkids and always made them each feel special and she attended nearly all their events. I am so blessed to have had her for a 2nd mom, I can't imagine anyone better. I love her and miss her tremendously.
