Scott John Forbes

Scott was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to Thyra and John Forbes on February 4, 1938. He went to school at Woodbridge Highschool. He married Isabel Maldonado in Jamestown, NY until they retired to Florida. He worked as a Contractor for Wigton Abbott, Haynor Hoyt and as an independent contractor for 40+ years. He was a veteran and served in the Marines until 1963. He enjoyed the arts and creating stained glass art pieces and was an inventor. He learned to love cooking and created many of his own recipes. He owned a Medieval themed restaurant in Jamestown, NY and was an avid and lifelong fan of the NY Giants.

Scott is preceded in death by wife Isabel Forbes.

Scott is survived by children Lori Matthews, Jeff Forbes and Kelly and John Ponchock, grandchildren Avery Swiontek, Cameron Swiontek, Emily Hoefer, Alex and Aubrette Swiontek, Casey Forbes, Tyson and Grace Matthews, and great grandchildren Quinn Leedy, Hendrix Emerton and Emil Matthews.

An Interment service will be scheduled for May at Bushnell, family and friends will receive details as service is planned.
