Burket, Ruth C., 79 of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021, with her family by her side following a brave battle with cancer.
Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Burket and her daughter, Simone Burket. She is survived by her children, Matt Burket of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Shannon McCurdy of Orange Beach, AL, two grandchildren, Jessica McCurdy and Cole McCurdy; two brothers Douglas Ross, wife Jean Ross; Bernard Ross, wife Susie Ross.
The family will receive friends in a Celebration of Life on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home located at 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa, FL. Service will be held at 4:00 pm with visitation immediately following.
