Robin Marie Boelzner Shick, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 1. She was born in Charleston, WV to Ernest C. and Nancy Stephenson Boelzner. She moved to Winter Park, FL with her family where she met and married the Rev. Kenneth D. Shick. She had a career as a dental hygienist, then reared her three sons as a stay at home mother. She was active in her children’s schools as a volunteer. She was an active member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church from 1984 until her death, participating in the music ministry in both contemporary and traditional choirs and the bell choir. She served in the 68 Hours of Hunger ministry. She ministered beside her husband until his retirement. She is survived by her husband, her 3 sons Matthew (Kathryn), Jonathan, Spencer (Lindsey), her 6 grandchildren, mother, and 3 brothers, David (Ann), Eric (Michelle), Stephen (Kim), and many nieces and nephews. A service of Celebration of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, 1309 W. Swann Ave, Tampa.
