Robert was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on August 9, 1924, son of Robert E. Murray, Sr. and Kathryn Maloney.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia A. McSweeney, Tampa, FL, and Kathleen A. Seningen (Doug), Holmes, PA., grandchildren, Andrea Seningen, Lauryn Coletto, Dennis P. McSweeney, Jr., Brian M. McSweeney, Nicholas Seningen, Clifton Seningen, and Richard Seningen as well as 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife of 75 years, Rosemarie T. Murray, and his sister, Joan Stuckart of Augusta, GA.
Robert was a proud World War II veteran, having served in the 8th Air Force, 453rd Bombardment Group, operating the B-24 Liberator, in Northern England from December 1942 to October 1945.
Robert was a long time member of St. Madeline Parish in Ridley Park, PA having donated much time and talent to various activities and initiatives over the years.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
