Robert “Bob” Mulroy, 57, of Tampa, passed away November 22, 2019 after facing Esophageal Cancer with courage and grace. Born August 30th, 1962 in Syracuse, NY, Bob moved to the Tampa area in 1997. Before retirement, he was a successful Sales Manager for several car dealerships throughout his career. He loved camping in the Georgia Mountains with his family, bicycling with his lovely wife and making his famous chocolate cake for his grandchildren. He had a passion and talent for cooking and we are going to miss all his delicious foods. Bob was a ham radio operator and enjoyed building radios and educating people about his hobby. He loved card tricks, was a huge Tampa Bay Rays and Lightning fan. He also was great story teller who enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 36 years, Nicole Mulroy; children, Brenda Castillo, Robert Mulroy, William Mulroy, and Bridget Lantigua; grandchildren, Ailyana Locke, Joary Lantigua, Jazlyn Lantigua, Braylon Castillo, Brielle Castillo, and Juliana Lantigua; his mother, Oona Mulroy; two sisters, Ana Mulroy and Susan Mulroy-Young and several nieces and nephews. The Family wishes to thank the amazing staff at St. Josephs Main for all the incredible care they provided.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation, Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Blount & Curry Oldsmar, 6802 Silvermill Dr. Tampa. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00pm at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 12708 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa.
