Rebecca L. "Becky" Taylor

Rebecca L (Becky) Taylor, 75, of Tampa, FL passed away suddenly and much too soon on June 28, 2022. Becky was born on September 15, 1946 in Lincoln, IL to Victor and Helen Stoll. She grew up in Central Illinois on a farm and graduated from Warrensburg-Latham High School in 1964.

In 1973 she moved to Florida and stayed busy raising her family. As her children grew older, she started attending college part time and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She then began working at Raymond James Financial where she enjoyed a long career until her retirement.

Becky loved music, she had season tickets to the Florida Orchestra and was an excellent piano player herself. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, and loved getting together with friends.

Becky was a wonderful mother and friend, but her favorite role was of doting grandma. She never missed a school play, dance recital, or orchestra concert.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters, Vicky Lueck (Doug) and Sharon Williams; children, Laura Whitley (Scott) and Greg Taylor; and beloved granddaughters, Gabby and Lexi Whitley.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at 5pm, Blount & Curry - MacDill, 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL. The service will also be livestreamed: https://youtu.be/ho5yLGD6WFU
