Raymond was an exceptionally skilled handyman who could fix anything. He took pride in his work and did it well. Prior to that he spent over 15 years at the airport as a ramp agent where he made many fun memories that he remembered often.
A beloved husband and father, Raymond was passionate about his family. He loved going on road trips with his family and really enjoyed the family trips to the mountains in Tennessee. He was an avid bird lover, especially of parrotlets and finches, and shared this passion with his children. He loved music and would spend hours mixing songs and just listening to music. Raymond loved making people laugh and was beloved by everyone who met him. If you were blessed enough to have Raymond as your friend, you had a friend for life. We will always remember his extraordinary strength and courage and he will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Marleny Montana; sons Giovani (Liz) Ortiz, Steven Ortiz, Adrian Ortiz; daughters Gianni Ortiz and Gabriela Ortiz; grandson Elijah; mother Isolina Tolentino; sisters Diana Ortiz, Zoraida Ortiz, Elizabeth Ortiz, Iliana Ortiz; parents-in-law Jose and Magdalena Montana; sisters-in-law Teresa (Chris) Moore and Gladys (Rene) Montana; and many nephews and nieces as well as close friends who were like family to him. He was predeceased by his father, Rafael Ortiz.
