Logan, Paul E. It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the unexpected death of Paul E. Logan, 78, of Tampa, Florida who passed away on March 20th, 2022 at the age of 78. Paul was preceded in death by his mother and his father. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diana, who he loved with all of his heart and was always proud to show it. He is also survived by his son, Matthew Logan (Aimee), his daughter Kimberly Logan, and his three granddaughters, who he adored, Alexis, Talia, and Olivia Logan, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paul was born June 1st, 1943 in Huntington, WV, where he enjoyed a wonderful childhood raised by the Jobe family. He joined the Air Force in 1963 during the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged 4 years later in 1967 from MacDill AFB in Tampa. He met his soulmate, Diana and then married in 1970. Together they raised 2 children and helped care for their 3 grandchildren. He joined the Tampa Fire Department in 1972 and retired in 1999 after almost 28 years of service, reaching the rank of Communications Chief. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling to Europe and many states, especially New York. He will always be remembered as a very kind person who loved his family dearly and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will held Monday, April 11 at 2PM at Garden Of Memories Cemetery.
