Patricia Ann Gielow, 90 of Odessa, Fl passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19th. She was born in the Panama Canal Zone and traveled for much of her early life, first as a military child and then as the wife of a service member. They eventually settled in Tampa in 1966.
She is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, Richard V. Gielow. She has missed him dearly since his passing in 2017. The two of them met in Cocoa Florida and were married for 64 years. She has called the Tampa Bay area home for the last 58 years.
After her children were older, she began working at Maas Brothers and eventually retired as a secretary for Morco Food Service Industries.
Brooksville, Fl became home for a number of years after retirement. There she enjoyed volunteer activities as well as membership in one of the local Red Hat Societies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh E. Turner and Edna Mae Reavis, brother Hugh A. Turner, and son in law, Jack B. Parsons.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Parsons, son, James Gielow (Chin), grandchildren, Eric and Bret Parsons (Jamie), Emily Bertoncini (Matthew), and great grandsons, Caleb and Levi Bertoncini. These little ones added much spark to her last few years. Extended family include Richard Turner and Diana Perkinson, sister-in-law Neva Gielow, nieces, Josie Schaller (Bruce), Kelly, and Tara Massey, nephew Robert Gielow (Teresa), and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
