The last of 8 children born in Chicago to Polish immigrant parents, Michele, a faith-filled servant of our Lord, was never happier than when with family. An active parishioner at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, she also frequently worshipped at St. Hagop Armenian Church.
Among the virtues Michele transmitted, inspiring the lives she touched, were unfailing encouragement, a work ethic like no other, and ongoing, self-less devotion to her family. She was particularly accessible and helpful during times of need. Michele extended her virtues and executive secretary talents while working in several of her family’s businesses, including her son’s psychology practice in Tampa for 20 years before her retirement in 2007.
Michele leaves behind a son, Michael, and his wife Jean – the daughter she never had. Her legacy includes three grandchildren, Edward (Margaret), Alexis (Yates), and Elizabeth (Nicholas). Our Lord also blessed Michele with five great-grandchildren (Michael, Hailey, Elizabeth, Mary, and Edward), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Michele’s family invites visitors from 5 PM to 7 PM on July 26th at the Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa. Funeral services will be at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home in Chicago on July 29th, from 10 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by her interment at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago, where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband.
In lieu of flowers, Michele’s family invites gifts to St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tampa, St. Hagop Armenian Church in Pinellas Park, or Life Path Hospice in Tampa.
