Michael was my friend and brother in Christ. At USFSP where we first met we had good times talking about God, family and work. Then, he invited me to his church to meet his family and his church family. Michael had a way of talking about the things of God like no one else I know. He had a genuine care for people. He loved his family and was always concerned about their well being. For Michael the things of this world have passed away. Now his joy is complete in the presence of our Savior Jesus.

I have had the pleasure of working with Michael at USFSP for the 15 years he worked there. He always had a gentle way about him.  He will be greatly missed at USFSP and to his family I offer my sincerest sympathy.

To the family of such a loving and caring man, who treated me as if I was his own daughter. The memories I have had with Mr. Williams will last a lifetime. He did so much for other people, and touched each one of us in a way we will never forget him. The day before he went to the hospital, he asked me to come see him in his office as we worked together everyday. I sat down and he advised me that he was going to be having a major surgery, and he told me he wanted me to know because of the bond we share. I said to him then that we do share a bond and it's more like father/daughter than Officer Bell to Mr. Williams the office manager and so we laughed and then he explained to me all he was going to be having done, and of course I tried to talk him out of this, and he said you sound like my daughter, and I said well I am, and he explained to me that GOD is in control, and he said I know I am right and squared away with his blessings so I am going to get this done knowing he knows whats best for me. I told him that I respect his choice, and I said to him I was going to give him a week to start feeling better and then I was going to be coming by the hospital to visit my friend. I can go on and on about the memories me and Mr. Williams shared, but I won't take up too much time as I know this is a very very hard time for his family, but I just want you all to know that your husband, father, grandfather, brother has been a best friend to me,and I loved him as I do my own father in so many ways they were a lot alike. He gave the best advice and I always felt better after speaking to him with all my issues..like the copier machine won't work and he would come and put his magic touch to it and the machine would work. I always told him he was my savior and now I will still need him, and I know he will keep being there for me although he is doing it from a place like no other. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all during this time of grievance and sorrow.
Officer Bell & Family 

My name is Trish Davis and I work at USFSP. I spoke with Mr. Williams often as the roles of our job kept us in regular contact. The news of Mr. Williams's transition broke my heart. I had the utmost respect for him. I will miss seeing that extension come across my phone and to answer only to hear that church music going in the background. He was a Man of God and that shown through not only his own words but in the way in which he carried himself. I am grateful for the short time in which I knew Mr. Williams, but know that he is now in the best of hands. To the Family - you have my deepest sympathy and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. May the lord give you strength during this time.

I am so very sad that Michael has passed from our midst.  I was a colleague at USF St. Petersburg and, although I retired in August, I remember Michael's wisdom, his calm presence and his friendship.  My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, grands, and extended family.  Michael was a remarkable person -- one that our broken world needs more of.  I shall remember him fondly and with joy.
