Melba Suarez

Melba was predeceased by her parents Jose Antonio Suarez and Maria Mateo Suarez, and her siblings Zeida Medina, Daniel Rolando Suarez and Victor Omar Suarez. Melba is survived by Hilda and Rich Puckett, Michelle and Paul Gallina, Omar and Yosilda Suarez, Alejandro and Christine Medina, Roland and Carmen Suarez, and her grand nephews & nieces, as well as her dearest friends Rosanne Valdez and Heather Fuller.

Melba worked as a Hair stylist and Cosmetologist for many years . Melba owned and operated multiple salons in the Tampa area. She had an extensive list of clients, some over 50 years. Melba shared her amazing talents and truly had the heart of a teacher! She was considered an expert in her field and worked with Hillsborough county as an educator training hundreds if not thousands of professionals throughout her career.

Melba was the life of the party with a sharp sense of humor, an avid traveler, artist and so much more. Melba will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Melba requested a Celebration of Life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Melba’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave. Tampa Fla. on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2pm - 4pm.
