Mary Louise Metzger Pritchard

PRITCHARD, Mary Louise, 80, of Tampa, known to everyone as Louise, passed away peacefully under hospice care on June 20th after a long battle with congestive heart failure and COPD. She is survived by her husband of more than 56 years, Charles Pritchard; daughters and stepdaughter, Sharon Eckert (and husband Richard), Brenda Vierra (and husband Robert) and Vicki Carol Gibson; grandchildren, Dustin Boehning, Kristen DeJesus (and husband Jose), Michael Clark, Don Bell (and wife Jenny) and Staci Gibson and great-grandchildren, Darby, Charlie, Zachary, Hailey, Emily, Julianna, and Joseph. Louise was "Mom" to not only her children, but also their friends. She was a great listener and an avid reader. Before she retired, Louise managed a small used book store for many years. So many, in fact, that many people thought she owned the store. Although her passing was not unexpected, Louise will be greatly missed by those whose lives were enriched by having known her. A funeral service will be held 4:00pm, Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W.
