passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
She was born to the late
George and Herminia Valdez.
She was an active member in the community
and serving on the Board
of Wellswood Civic Center for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons,
great grandchildren, neighbors and friends,
vacationing with her family,
cooking and gardening.
Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years,
Rufino Lemus; children Desiree and Ernest;
grandchildren, Joe, Alex, Bobby, Evan,
and Jacob; great-grandchildren,
Bobby, Adelyn, Joe Jr, Jonathan, Penelope;
her sisters Molly and Millie;
son-in-law Bob, and in-laws,
Angel and Martha Lemus,
Victor and Mary Lemus,
many nieces, nephews,
and extended family members.
She also leaves behind numerous
loving friends and neighbors.
We have truly lost the bright light in our lives.
Funeral service Saturday,
May 21st, 2:00 pm with visitation
one hour prior to service
at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home.
