Linda Ruth Smith Markart

Linda never met a stranger and had a smile and a contagious laugh that would take over the room. She was the most loving, gracious spirit and was so proud of her family. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to be a part of her life.

Survived by Loving husband of 56 years and best friend, James J Markart; Daughter: Karen Markart McGarvey (Husband Bryce McGarvey); Son: James M Markart (Wife Barbara Markart); Grandchildren: Tanner James McGarvey and Shelby Lynne McGarvey, Joseph Michael Markart (wife Shelby) Great Grandson – Walker Markart, Jason Markart (wife Grace) Great Grandson – Louis Markart and Julia Markart Falkenstein (Husband Stephen) Great Grandson - Parker, David Smith – Nephew, David Smith Jr – Great Nephew, Johnny and Donna Patterson – Nephew and Niece, Aunt – Velma Smith

Linda is predeceased in Death by her Mother – Mary Smith, Father - Jack Smith, Brothers – John, Frank, and Doyle Smith and Nephew – Curtis Smith

A celebration of life gathering for Linda will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. A celebration of life service will occur Monday, April 15, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood.
