Kathryn “Kathy” Sutton passed away Feb. 11, 2016. She is survived by her mother, Martha W. Sutton and was predeceased by her father, Carl Sutton, M.D. Kathy was born in N.Y., N.Y. and moved with her family to Miami, FL as a young child. Those who enjoyed the visual artistry of her creations, the directors who relied on her talent as the costumer to convey their interpretation of a production, and the many actors, dancers, and other theatre personnel with whom she worked will greatly miss her contributions. Kathy was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, GFWC Tampa Woman’s Club and the Carrollwood Cultural Center, where she had served on the Board of Directors. A private interment service will held at Woodlawn Park Cemetery, Miami, FL. Martha Sutton will receive friends at a reception in memory of Kathy on Mar. 5, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Carrollwood Cultural Center.
