Joseph was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He served as a postal carrier for 35 years in Tampa, which he loved.
Joseph enjoyed reading about history, collecting antiques, dancing, listening to classical and 50's Rock and Roll music, and watching classic films.
Joseph was a man of faith who enjoyed attending church with his wife, singing church hymns and reading scriptures from the Bible.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. We will always remember Joseph’s strength, courage and infinite amount of knowledge. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Perez; step-daughters: Robbin Chance (Keith), Rhonda McNatt (Joel); step-son, Robert Cooper (Barbie); granddaughters: Christin Burnside (Brandon), and Meagan Chance; grandsons: Nicholas Cooper, Connor Kruse, Carsten Kruse; and great-granddaughter, Brooke Boydston.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may to the American Cancer Society in his name.
