Joseph J Messina, 93, died March 25, 2021. A native of McKeesport, PA he had resided in Tampa, FL since 1975. A navy veteran of World War II, he was a graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. and a retired Sales Manager for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a Life Member of Tampa Elks Lodge No 708, Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 8612, Past President of Egypt Shrine Band, member of Egypt Shriners, Holyrood Lodge No 257 F & AM and American Legion Post 152. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Audrey I Messina, son Kenneth J Messina, daughters Barbara A Plourde (spouse Steve Plourde), and Cynthia M Gutierrez ( spouse Juan F. Gutierrez), six grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his sister Gloria A Lewis of Boston, MA, one niece and one nephew. Funeral services to be held at Incarnation Catholic Church and burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
