Jorge Vicente Gonzalez, age 96, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1926 in Camaguey, Cuba. He resided in Miami, Florida with his niece, Daisy Gonzalez, after the passing of his wife, Mercedes Gonzalez.
Jorge was the youngest of three. He was a proud and hard working man, who loved his wife Mercedes and the good things in life. Although they had no children they had an abundance of nieces and nephews that loved and care for them both.
We will miss you Tio Jorge; Daisy, Yoel, Gilda, Danny, Giselle, Marlene, Isabella, Jorgito, Bertha, Isidorito, Diana, Mahe, Ray, Devan, Luke, Paul, Bridget, Kennedy, Hazel, Quinnie, Susan, Mayda, Cary, Nestor, Jennifer, Aaron, Eloise, Oliver, Christopher, Katie and David.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue Tampa, Florida 33610. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Las Americas section of the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
