HOLBROOK, Jordan Chase, age 26, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away in Tampa on Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was born in Gainesville, Florida to Frederick Holbrook and Marcy Roy. He was a Gator baby from the start!
Jordan had such a big, loving and caring heart, he adored his two dogs Sozen and Kakashi, his family and he had a passion for his work and considered many of his co-workers family. Jordan loved art and did bead work, painting on canvas, and jewelry castings with epoxies. He was fascinated with the Japanese culture and enjoyed anime, as well as movies and could quote movie lines from the time he was a small child. He loved to read books and has a large collection. He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed all genres. He was an LED Bo Staff flow artist and would spin his staff at parties and events. He was the best to have deep, meaningful conversations with and was a good listener. He loved animals and cooking with his mom, Marcy. He loved eating the food even more than cooking it! Jordan worked at Shield Coatings & Weatherproofing, Inc. for 9 years and was a journeyman skill level. He repelled from 20 story buildings and was fearless. Jordan had many other interests and talents including baseball, football, gaming, taekwondo, running track, playing violin, longboarding, snowboarding, rafting, ziplining, hiking, wakeboarding and spending time with his family. He lived his life fully and fearlessly every day, he was an all-around athlete and excelled in all that he did. Jordan was called home much too soon and will forever be missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched. His family will never be the same with the absence of his vibrant spirit.
Jordan is survived by both his loving parents Fred Holbrook and Marcy Roy, grandfather Gary Roy, step father Keith Alonso, step mother Nicole Fernandez, his five brothers Jakob Alonso, John Alonso, Jaggur Alonso, Kole Mittler and Aiden Holbrook, uncles and aunts Michelle and Jack IV Fernandez, Gary II and Tara Roy, Sheila and George Trinchet, first cousins Mikaela Claytor, Sierra Fernandez, Jack Fernandez V, Anthony Trinchet, Cynthia Trinchet and many second cousins that consider Jordan their uncle/tio.
Jordan now joins heaven with both his grandmothers Vivian Roy and Darlene Holbrook, his grandfather Frederick Holbrook Sr. and his uncle Lyon Charles Roy. We know they will wrap him in their loving arms.
