John Leo Puls, Sr.

John "Jack" Leo Puls, Sr of Pompano Beach, Fl passed away on 30 December, 2021 at the age of 84. Jack is survived by his wife of 25 years Nell Sledge Puls; children; Regina Hernandez, Elizabeth Duchaine (Dewey), Richard C. Puls, Sr. (Danielle), Step-Daughter Mary Petrone (Nicolas); brother, Richard C. Puls. Grandchildren, Nicole Hernandez, Richard C. Puls, Jr. (Madison), Morgan Puls, Johnathan & Devin Puls, and Step-granddaughter Mila Petrone. Nephew, Sean M. Puls. He is preceded in death by parents, Richard & Rosemary Puls, son, John L. Puls, Jr. brother, Michael Puls & son-in-law, Pierre D. Hernandez.

Jack was born on March 12, 1937, in Evanston, IL to Richard & Rosemary Puls. He graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa FL.

Jack was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps and entrepreneur, owner of Bay Fasteners & Anchor Tite, JLP Custom Screens & Aluminum, American Canopy and a Class A General Contractor. He was generous, witty, and a dedicated husband & father. He loved boating and was passionate about getting together with his family. He was an active member at St Gabriel Catholic Church in Pompano Beach, FL where he spent many hours volunteering to help the poor and homeless. Visitation for John will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33629, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
