MOTLEY, John Melvin, 81, of Tampa passed away on April 26, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 Years, Judith; children, David Motley of Redington Shores, Jeff Motley and wife Kay of Tampa, and Elizabeth Motley of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Brooke Motley of Tampa; and his furry companion, Lucky. Born in North Carolina , John and Judy have been Tampa Bay residents for over 50 years. John attended Elon University and received his Engineering Degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. He retired from General Electric after 35 years of service. He was an avid golfer (John had five hole-in-ones) and could often be found at Carrollwood Country Club and Cypress Run. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10 at the Blount and Curry, Oldsmar/West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr, Tampa.
