Craig was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida but grew up between the area of Town N’ Country in Tampa, Florida and the fields of Alabama. He graduated from Gardendale High School and received his Associates’ Degree in Business Administration from HCC in 1992. Craig loved to watch sports like football and soccer and was able to run a five-minute mile. He was a walk-on starting linebacker for a semi-professional football team located in Tampa. After starting his pool contracting business, Econo Pool Service, he welcomed his daughter, Elena, in 1997.
Craig was known for his generous heart, creativity, cooking, sense of humor, singing skills and his love for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He is preceded by his mother, Virginia Reed. He is survived by his daughter, Elena Moore, brothers, Charles Moore and Curtis Moore Jr., father, Curtis Moore Sr., and stepmother, Genie Moore.
Anyone who knows him will miss his barbecue, little-known trivia facts, and his love of astronomy. He loved deeply with compassion and patience for all of his family and friends.
The celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm at the Oldsmar Blount and Curry Funeral Home located at 6802 Silvermill Dr.
