Jeff was born on February 18, 1973 in Rochester, New York, the son of John E. and Ardeth M. (Wolko) Adams. Jeff achieved the honor of Eagle Scout, and at the age of 15 received his private pilot’s license. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1995. Jeff went on to pursue numerous aircraft ratings and certifications, including Flight Instructor. He spent a long and rewarding career of 25 years as a Senior Staff Engineer for Aero Simulation, Inc., in Tampa, Florida.
Jeff was an avid motorcycle enthusiast lovingly known as “Speshl J” or "SkyDork" and was active in the riding community. Jeff enjoyed watching his daughters train to ride horses, and attending their competitive events around the country. Jeff’s humor, kindness, helpfulness to fix anything, and expertise in aviation & mechanics will be sorely missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, John E. Adams.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Angela (Taylor) Adams; his two daughters, Mackenzie and Megan Adams; his mother, Ardeth Adams; his brother, Jason (Bridget) Adams; two nieces; and one nephew.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a gathering for Jeff that will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home - Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 PM.
