Jean Hall Carroll, affectionately known as Jeannie, passed away on August 21, 2024, peacefully at her home in Tampa, FL, at the age of 74. Born on July 14, 1950, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to John and Marjorie Most, she brought immense joy and kindness into the lives of those around her.
Jeannie graduated from Lakeland High School and furthered her education at Jacksonville University. She devoted her career to the family business, Carroll Apparel, significantly contributing to the women's fashion industry with her keen eye for style and detail.
A resident of Tampa, Jeannie was a beacon of love and care in her community and family. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas J. Carroll III; her sons, John Gregory Carroll and his wife Katherine, and Michael Patrick Carroll; her grandsons, Kyle, Jack, David, and Garner; and her granddaughter, Virginia; her step- son Tommy Carroll. She also leaves behind her brother, John Most and his wife Susan, and her sister, Marjorie Wilson and her husband Stewart. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and John Most.
Jeannie's life was marked by her joyous personality and her caring, loving, and kind nature. She truly cherished spending all her free time simply being around her family. Attending games, practices, even riding around in golf carts - just so she was always included, anything to be with "her boys".
Services to honor Jeannie's life will be held on September 6, 2024 at 10 am, at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, located at 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609. Blount & Curry is assisting the family with arrangements, ensuring that Jeannie's memory is honored and cherished.
