Sigmon, James W, 73, of New Port Richey, Florida entered into rest on September 12, 2016. Jim retired after 26 years with Tampa Police Department. He is survived by the love of his life, Kandice Turner; sons, Jeff (Tara), Michael (Heather), Chip and Matthew (Maura); daughters, Monika (Charles) and Melissa; brothers, Ronnie, Henry and Johnny; sisters, Sheila and Patricia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jim was beloved by everyone that knew him sense of humor and contagious laughter. He was a consummate storyteller and always had a joke for any audience and occasion. We know there is more laughter in Heaven today. A funeral service will be held at 5pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa; family will start receiving guests at 3pm.
