Harold Stanford Altman, Jr., "Hal" 59, of St. Petersburg, passed away at his home, February 28, 2018. We lost a wonderful young man, but he did fight valiantly until the end. He attended Grady Elementary, Coleman Jr., and Plant High School. He was the son of the late Peggy and Harold Altman and leaves behind two wonderful children, Rachel Altman and Blake Anthony. His sisters, Sherry Lane (Bobby) and Beverly Allen; brother, Chuck (Martha); nephews, Bryan and Daniel Lane. Hal was a real charmer, his personality allowed you to become friends instantly. He was known for being genuine and honest. Hal was a man of many talents and embarked on many adventures. He had a great work ethic and was able to enjoy himself at leisure. A celebration of both Hal’s and his mother Peggy’s lives will be announced soon. Hal frequently attended Hyde Park United Methodist Church. Donations may be made in his name to the church.
