Wow first we grew up together then as we got older we were still best of friends stayed together played spades along  with ur sister who to has gone from this world u left to Florida there to I went to see u had a cup of coffee and played spades it seems like just yesterday but it’s been a life time your gone but I will alway miss you and never forget you Rest In Peace my friend along with your dad,mom Sis your wife and last but not least your sister Iris and not to forget your brother Victor. To my Family soo sorry for the great Loss of Gilbert. Too many memories to share . I was raised along side  this man and his family and I received nothing but Love, advise and guidance. Just know that his loss has extended to our family . Words can’t explain. To this day I feel I can hear his laughter. Wish I could be there but know I love each and every one of you. My memories with Big Gil were weekends at Victor and Lory's house, Christmas's together, Grandchildren's birthdays, and the Buc's games together. We would watch the guys play cornhole for awhile until the Bucs game would come on. The dinners along with the Bucs games were awesome! We'd watch the Game together and cheer on the Bucs till the end! 
Those are the precious memories we will cherish in our heart forever and always!
We love you Big Gil! May you rest in peace with Sis!

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of my "brother" Gil.  He worked with my father, Bob, and Gil was like a son to him.  Making him my "brother."  My dad loved Gil.  After my dad passed, Gil kept in contact with our mom, Anita Bodak, and watched over her like my dad would have wanted.  It was so great to see Gil when he came up for my dad's funeral.  That's when these pictures were taken.  (My sister Cindy is in the top row, and I am in the bottom row with my mom.)  I'm sure my dad is happy to have his "son" Gil up in heaven with him!  To Gil's family, I offer my deepest sympathy and know that I will keep you in my prayers.  Love, Linda McCarty
