Frank Joseph Schiavi

Frank was born in NYC to Dora and Frank Schiavi on January 30, 1952. He was raised in Poughkeepsie, NY. He attended FDR High School and graduated from Marist college and earned his MBA from NYIT in NYC. He worked as a manager for the Social Security Court of Appeals in Queens NY and Tampa Fl, retiring after more than 30 years of service. He moved to Tampa Fl in 1995. It was here he added Golf, Tennis, Hiking, and Biking to his routine. The time he spent socializing with his group of special friends was very special to him.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Dora and Frank Schiavi and his special brother-in-law Dom Freni.

Frank is survived by his sister Anne Freni, Poughkeepsie NY, Jack Schiavi (Ernie), Orlando Fl, Nephew James Freni (Holley), Hyde Park NY, Carolyn Jandrew (Mike), Wappinger Falls NY, and Great nephew Jackson Freni, Hyde Park and several cousins. He was honored with a long list of close friends that were very special to him.

At Franks request there will be no services. His wish was to have a lunch out with friends and maybe enjoy a good Grilled Cheese sandwich in his honor.

Franks wish was for anyone to donate to their own favorite charity.

The family of Frank wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr Hans Langschwager and Dr Edgar Miranda of Clearwater for the special care they provided. In addition, special thanks to the wonderful staff at Meese Countryside Hospital, Clearwater for the wonderful care provided.
