Frank, Thinking of you especially last night as we were sitting at the 6 PM Mass at Sacred Heart. Thought of the many Masses we served together on Christmas Eve. We may not see you but know you are not Forgotten. May you be Resting in Peace.  We do not see Arlene enough but we Pray for her everyday. God’s Will be done. We know if God had a Refrigerator, you picture would be on it. We do know for sure your picture is in his wallet.

Frank, I miss you, we all miss you. We especially missed you last night when I ushered the 6 PM Christmas Eve Mass.  Every Saturday when when I usher the Vigil Mass, I look up and ask you, am I doing it right, lol. I always had to grab your arm to tell you we had to go up front to the Alter to control the pews going up for Communion because just like a good Politician you were hugging all the Babies, lol.  After Mass I always reminded you that the lawn guy needed to do a better job for Arlene. God Bless You. You were “The Best”. We love you and always will.  Betty and Rich Mest

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to brother Frank. Arlene and I worked together for many years and I met Frank from one of his visits to our facility. His hand shake was delivered with a full smile and absorbing laughter. And it never changed. Most importantly I will remember listening to both Frank and Arlene talk about their travel adventures. I will always remember brother Frank. May God prepare himself for some good laughs with  Frank. And may HE alway provide blessings to Arlene. Rest In Peace Frank.

Please know that I will never forget Frank, and will miss him dearly.   He truly was the last great Gentleman, and I have a lot to thank him for on where I am with my professional career.   It's because of his mentorship, support, friendship, and guidance.   He was always so patient and willing to lend advice at any given time.   The man was a wealth of knowledge, and the best part....he was always positive.    

Suzy and I have always said that you and Frank are great examples of the Happiest Married Couple.  Every time we were blessed to see you at Palma Ceia or local events, you two were always smiling at each other.    I know he will always be by your side.

Dear Arlene,

Sorry to hear of Frank's passing. When I moved to Orlando, we bonded over our respective New York roots as well as our love for the Yankees. I remember coming to the office the day after Mo's blown save during Game 7 of the 2001 WS and we each exchanged that "say no more" look.

Even though my professional relationship with him was brief, I alway had high regard for him.

Frank Cardinal is a wonderful example of Christianity. His warm smile, personal greetings and kind words toward all was his signature at Sacred Heart Saturday Vigil Mass.  This same spirit was also in his friendships.  Frank greeted me many years ago, and we soon became friends sharing usher duties as well as our military service experiences.  His wonderful smile and friendly temperament were infectious. I loved to work with him as he welcomed regular church members, families, visitors and our homeless as members of his extended family.  
No matter what the topics of the day were, he had that special way of including you and making one feel valued.  His great love is Arlene and their deep affection and amazing chemistry made Saturday Vigil Masses truly wonderful. Anyone who knew him has been blessed.  Frank you are, and will be, profoundly missed.

Frank was a great member of Sacred Heart Church in downtown Tampa.  He was with it as it grew and he was an important part of the church.  He encouraged others and was a great example in his church and family life.  Richard and I will definitely miss and remember him...he is with the angels now...

Saddened by the loss in this physical world, Frank will be forever in our hearts and minds as ever present as he ever was.  We are grateful for having known his humor, love of life and travel, and beloved soulmate Arlene.   He is only out of sight.

I was made aware of Frank's condition a few days before Christmas. Please accept my sympathy and prayers. What a loss. Both of you have been so faithful to Sacred Heart and the Friars. I always enjoyed dinners at your house and dinners out when I visited and your visits here to the Big Apple. What an enjoyable and positive man Frank was. He touched many people's lives in his role as user, welcoming those he knew and total strangers. May he rest in peace.

Although I'm a thousand miles a way, please know that I stand with you during this time of great loss and remember with a grateful heart your beloved husband and best friend, Frank .

When people speak about their other "half", you and Frank were the definition of that  poetic phrase.  You complimented each other like brother and sister and had a way of bringing about the best in each other in a way that was not only special and beautiful but truly a grace to be around.

I will always hold fond memories of Frank's great sense of humor, radiant smile and enthusiasm for celebrating the best in everything and everyone.  Not only was he the perfect fit to be church usher, but the perfect fit and other half of you.

Upon our arrival to Sacred Heart almost 14 years ago ,  you and Frank  graciously welcomed us northern friars to this foreign place near the equator with open arms and generous hearts.  I am forever grateful for his faithful friendship and the many memories we shared usually around great food and drink.  I feel confident that what he so generously gave while here on earth is now being returned to him a thousand times over as he is welcomed home in the loving embrace of our God.

Please know I hold you in prayer during this time of loss and hope   the community of Sacred Heart will convey the wonders of God's healing presence during the days a head.   And, if for whatever reason they don't, let me know and I'll  be there in  New York minute and set things right.

My husband and I have known Frank for over 50 years he and Arlene used to come to our apartment in Brooklyn when they were dating we would sit in the kitchen and play meal boring at night all and I would drink coffee the guys would have a beer or two then it was time for bed Frank would lay on the couch and hopefully get some sleep before Michael Sean would get up in the morning and wake them up many wonderful memories wonderful barbecues laughs fun times I’ll miss them all Frank was a great man he and Arlene together a super couple love them both so much no it’s gonna be very hard for her now that he’s gone he was her other halfAll we can hope for is that we keep these beautiful memories alive

Frank, was a great friend.  We laughed a lot together as we were Ushers at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  His outward Friendliness to Everyone, led me to tease him many times about "what Public Office are you running for".   We will miss him and I do know that I am a Better Person for having Known Frank.  God Bless Your Soul and Rest in Piece, My Friend.

                    The greatest love of his life was you. He experienced  a full life of love and adventures with you by his side. For that, I am truly grateful .
