He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Philippines during World War II. Upon returning Home he was employed for 45 years at Gaylord Container. He attended Wellswood Baptist Church where he enjoyed serving God's word. He was an avid baseball fan but enjoyed all sports.
He is survived by his wife, Julia "Olga" Venega of 69 years; two daughters, Marlene Mothershed (Randy), Darlene DiVittorio (Dennis); four grandchildren, Randy Jr. (Victoria), Amanda Mothershed, Dennis Jr., Danielle DiVittorio and a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Mothershed. Also, special thanks for the wonderful care he received at El Oasis Assisted Living Facility.
