Eugene “Marvin” Posey, 87, was welcomed into the Lord’s hands on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
He was the proud owner, operator and founder of Posey Batteries, Tampa, Florida for close to 60 years. The business was his pride and joy. He always provided excellence in customer service as well as being known as a supporter of many individuals in need.
Marvin is survived by his two daughters, Sherri Head and son-in-law, David Head and Sebrina Posey Gordon and son-in-law, Mark Gordon; grand-daughters, Lauren Head and Savannah Head.
Funeral Service/Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2018, 2:00-4:00p.m. Blount Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. Donations may be made in Marvin’s name to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Whole Health Service or Amazing Love Ministries.
