Dylan Wainright

Dylan Thomas Wainright, 32, of Tampa passed away on September 11, 2023 in St. Croix, the United States Virgin Islands. Dylan graduated from Chamberlain High School in 2009. He attended University of Florida and University of South Florida. Dylan was an extremely gifted and talented young man. His heart and soul were mostly in his music. Dylan was loved more than he imagined and that love will go on forever. Though he will be missed every single day, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and that one day we will be together again.

In Tampa, Dylan is survived by his mother, Shannon Wainright (Nick Etti); his brother, Devan Wainright; maternal grandparents, Jan Fender and Ed Howell, Michael and Marsha Wainright; aunts and uncles, Natalie and Michael Blasciak, Melissa and Josh Pinkerton, Steve and Melanie Link; cousins, Dakota, Duncan, Dawson, Hannah, Grant and Charlotte; amongst many other close, loving family members.

In St. Croix, Dylan is survived by his father and step mom, Maher and Najat Yusuf; siblings Yussra, Faten, Majed, Lojain, Mazen and Moayed; paternal grandparents, Fathi and Fawzia Yusuf amongst many other loving family members.

A visitation for Dylan will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, Florida 33618, followed by a funeral service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
