Crowell, Dorothy Caldwell age 91, died June 9, 2015. She was a native of Tampa who attended public schools in Tampa, and after H.B. Plant High School graduated from Sweet Briar College with honors. Dottie Sue was a former member of various social and civic organizations, including co-founder of SERVe, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Davis Islands Community Church, and in later years attended Bayside Community Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, A.M. Bob Crowell and by her sister, Frances Caldwell Harris, Louisville, Ky. She is survived by her four children, the joy of her life: Anne Lawson and husband Steve, Mobile, AL, Tracey Smith and husband David, Gastonia, NC, Drew Crowell and wife Penny, Durango, CO and David Crowell, Tampa. Also surviving are nine grandchildren very special to her: Elaine Smith, Charleston, SC, Mackay Smith and wife Rachel, Newnan, GA, Andrew Lawson, Dallas, TX, James Lawson, Dallas, TX, Grace Anne Lawson, Dallas, TX, John Lawson, Dallas, TX, Andrew Crowell and wife Jessica, Durango, CO, Carolina Crowell, Denver, CO, Garrett Crowell, Durango, CO. A memorial celebration of her life and reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 15 at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church, 350 S.
