Donald Borland, born April 6, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!) passed away October 24, 2018 in Lakeland, FL. Don is predeceased by Walter and Louise Borland and Danny Dodson. He is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn, two daughters; Marilyn and Monica, one son-in-law, Luis, one sister, Fran, one brother-in-law, Ed, one sister-in-law, Marilyn, five wonderful grandchildren; Luis, Brianna, Andrew, Emily and Stheveen, and 12 nieces and nephews. Don's hobbies included motorcycles, guns, fishing, hunting, and watching old movies. He achieved many accomplishments throughout his life, but he was most proud of being a Paratrooper in the United States Army and a Police Officer. Don was an exceptionally great Step-Father, as well as a wonderful Grandfather to his Grandchildren. And of course he was an expert on laying in the lazy boy with the remote in hand. His loved ones will remember him for being stubborn and grumpy but doing anything for his family.
