Dr. Charles Ames Finn

Dr. Finn was a well-known Orthopedic Surgeon who lived a life of dedication serving members of his community. Charles graduated from Hahnemann University Medical College and completed a residency in Orthopedic surgery also at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also went on to complete a fellowship in spine surgery at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. He specialized in the treatment of complicated disorders afflicting the spine. Charles was also a loving husband and father.

Charles is survived by his wife, Riza T. Finn, and their son Charlie Jr. He also leaves behind his brother, Dr. Henry Finn (wife Catherine Finn), and sister Ellen Finn Oaks, along with nieces Lauren Finn, Caitlin Finn, Elizabeth Oaks, and Rebecca Ulrich, as well as extended family and friends.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The following morning, Saturday, August 5, 2023, there will be a 10:00 am Funeral Service at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at MacDill Chapel, 605 S MacDill Ave Tampa, FL 33609. Following the funeral service, a burial will occur at Myrtle Hill. After the burial, all are welcome to join the family for a 1:00 pm reception at Blount and Curry at MacDill Chapel.
