Brooke Marie Brown

Brooke Marie Brown, 18, of Tampa, passed away October 15, 2017 surrounded by friends and family. She was a recent honors graduate of Plant High School where she was an avid athlete with a passion for track and field and flag football. Brooke recently enrolled at Hillsborough Community College with a spring acceptance to the University of South Florida where she planned to pursue a career in nursing where she could help so many like those that helped her. Typically, you could find Brooke working out, doing yoga, shopping, enjoying outdoor music festivals, or at the beach with friends. Brooke was also acknowledged for her artistry, contributing the art work in a children’s ABC book. As her parents would say, Brooke was the light of their life and a loving touch everyone felt and knew to be true. Though Brooke suffered a physically and emotionally debilitating disease she remained an inspiration and force of energy admired and known by all. Our Sweet Brookie Brown is survived by parents, Christopher HG Brown and Denise Brown; brother, Hunter C. Brown; stepmother, Shanna Brown; step-sister, Sophia Castellucci; step-brother, Luke Castellucci; grandparents, Arthur M. Brown, Rob (Pam) Hoover, and Suzanne (Larry) Hoover-Anderson.

A Funeral Service will be held at South Tampa Fellowship - Ballast Point, 5105 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, FL on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1P.
