Bonnie Jean Bond (Jean) died peacefully at the age of 96. Jean is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Leban (John) of Tampa, Brenda Korhn of Tampa, Nancy Bond Bryant (Guy) of Tampa, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Luther Condrey and Ruby Helms Condrey of Plant City, her sister, Dorothy Varner of Plant City, her brother, Jack Condrey of Plant City, her husband, John C. Bond of Tampa, her daughter, MarJean Hand of Tampa, and her daughter Marlene Bowen of Tampa.
Jean Bond was born on January 15,1926 in Enterprise, Alabama. She moved to Tampa in 1946 and became an active and dedicated member of First Baptist Church serving in Sunday School and the choir. She married John Bond in May of 1955. She was a full time mother and homemaker. Jean was a loving, Christian woman who loved her family and her church. Christian beliefs guided her throughout her life. She was always lifting others up with her kindness and encouraging words. Jean was a role model for all and a witness for her Lord and Savior. A funeral is scheduled for January 29, 2023 at 2:00 at First Baptist Church of Tampa, 302 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606 with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jean Bond’s life.
