Born 11/30/1993, Ashley spent most of her youth in her Hometown of Tampa, Florida. She grew up with her family and many siblings that she loved dearly. She was a social butterfly with a bright outgoing personality who engaged in many extracurriculars, most notably Girl Scouts. Through 13 years in the girl scouts, she volunteered with various organizations completing her Bronze, Silver and the prestigious Gold Award.
On one beautiful day in 2013, Ashley met her Husband Sean at a beach. It was a whirlwind romance that led to their marriage on 02/10/2018. They were attached at the hip, sharing the same hobbies and passion for bringing out the best in each other. Ashley fell in love with her husband Sean in the way she does everything: all in, and anyone who knew them could not deny their soulmate-level connection. With Sean, Ashley developed a love for fitness and competitive weightlifting. She traveled the country competing in events including the Europa Strongman Games and the National Strongman Championship, rewarding herself with her favorite mini donuts after every competition.
She didn’t just compete in the gym, she also dominated the banking world and never settled for the status quo. Tenacious, brilliant, and driven, she completed her Bachelor’s in Finance and led a successful Financial Career. Working for Regions and First Citizens Banks in various roles. As a manager, she was a dedicated leader to her employees and a champion of her clients needs.
Even with all Ashley's success in her marriage, hobbies, and work, her greatest achievement was becoming a Mommy. She welcomed her son Clayton Patrick Walters in 2018 while in her second home of North Carolina. Ashley wanted nothing more than to expand her family. Her second son Cooper Joseph Walters was expected in a few weeks. It gives great comfort to know Ashley and Cooper will be together for eternity.
A gathering of friends and family is scheduled for 12 pm on Sunday, 17 September at Blount & Curry Funeral Home on South MacDill Avenue. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1pm.
