Antonio "Tony" Hero

Antonio "Tony" Hero age 85 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 24th 2022. Tony is survived by his beloved wife Margaret "Ginger" Hero, Daughters Kathy Acosta and Dianne Packrall husband Tim Packrall, Sister Lynn Childress, Brother Albert "Machi" Hero, Grandchildren Tiffanie and Brian Primrose, Ricky and Kayleigh Acosta, Stephanie and Andrew Spicknall, Preston and Mackenzie Packrall, Great Grandchildren Andrew, Lauren, Zoe, Wesley, Gianna, Isla.

Tony was born on July 1st 1936 in Ybor City Tampa. He married Ginger Scarpa in 1954 on Lemon street where they live to this day. Tony loved cars and retired from commercial car hauling. Tony and Ginger welcomed two daughters Dianne and Kathy at their Lemon street home where the family grew up.

Tony and Ginger are active members of South Tampa Fellowship church 5101 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, FL where the service will be held on Friday, January 28th 2022 @ 12pm, visitation will begin at 11:30am. All are welcomed to celebrate the life of Tony Hero. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E. Lake Ave, Tampa FL 33610. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to First Priority of Tampa Bay or STF church.
