Dr. Amelia V. Hubbard, 92, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, at her home in Lutz. She is survived by her son Charles Cabrera (Jona), daughters Malou Smith (Bob) and Marlene Roome (Rich), 2 step sons Mark and Scott Hubbard, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She taught and practiced dentistry in the Philippines and during her short stay in Saudi Arabia. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church serving as a mass reader for many years.
A visitation for Dr. Amelia will be held Monday, June 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1711 E 11th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605. A funeral mass will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. A Private Graveside Service on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 1:30 PM, Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
