Auntie Hyacinth & Uncle Kenneth (Cousin)  gave me my very first job opportunity as an 11 year old boy,  I truly thank them now. They shaped my life for the better! 
If they could see it and do it… So could I! 
I worked part time at “Thel- Hy’s”  Beauty Supply  on Nostrand Avenue, in Brooklyn, New York back then. Uncle Ken taught me to read the newspapers every morning religiously for pertinent information and sharpening my mind! Aunty Hyacinth laid out the battle plans for the business at hand daily, made sure I always ate well.
Their own unique and beautiful brand of love, laughter, guidance, strength and support still stay within me to this very day. 
They exuded excellence under fire! 
Grace… Poise… Strength… Resilience… Excellence!
Aunty Hyacinth always guided and counseled you with love, assurance and precise direction to achieve your goals. My life would be so different without them both in it. Truly one of God’s  incredible blessings on this earth.  I am truly honored and incredibly blessed to have known her, loved her and to be shaped by her in this life.
Love you so much Aunty… A woman who could give the Queen a few tips about grace, decorum  and protocol!

My memories of Mrs. Williamson will forever be treasured in my heart.  Her grace, kindness, elegance, and fortitude drew me to her when we first met more than thirty years ago.  We kept in touch all these years with visitations and telephone conversations.  She was a private, deeply introspective woman whose wisdom has had a profound effect on many of my life choices.  The depth of her love for her family was sincere and admirable.  Her children and grandchildren were the light in her eyes. Throughout her life, she  faced her highs and lows with quiet strength and dignity.  I am thankful to God for providing me the opportunity in  October  2024  to express my love to her via telephone.  To Greg and the grandchildren, I offer sincere condolences on your loved one's passing. However, please know that she lived a full and meaningful life. Aunt Hyacinth was a sweet, gentle and kind person. My deepest sympathies goes to Greg, Camila, Kyle and other family and friends.

To Greg and the family, we express our condolences. We will miss the memories with Hyacinth in Florida and the willingness to always take our family in, even during a hurricane here in Texas. We’ll miss the fun times at the home in Jamaica. We loved the memory of a small family reunion at the home. It was always fun playing dominos on the beach at the Jamaica home. May Hyacinth rest in peace.

Aunt Hyacinth was like a second mother to me . When I was growing up in Jamaica she had moved close by and was always there to help and support me.
I will miss her. I know she will be happy to be reunited with her daughter, brother and her husband.

This was our last meeting in person,  we never thought it would be, yet we're so glad and grateful 🙏 that we were able to spent quality time together, express our love for each other, and most importantly poke fun at the things we couldn't change. 😊💕

I Pray the Lord's comforting presence be with the family at this time. Sister Hyacinth is now in her eternal home.

Greg, I’m really saddened by the loss of your mom.  My heart goes out to you and your family.  I remember the Summers I spent with her and Mr. Williamson. Her wide and bright smile always. Her entrepreneurship. Her commitment to naturopathic healing and eating naturally—- before it became a thing. 
I was glad I spoke with her last year. May she rest in peace and may you be comforted and find strength from great memories. 🙏🏼❤️
