Raymond Alexander Curci passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the age of 23. Born on August 3, 2001, Alex, also called Ray by many of his friends, was a beloved son, devoted brother, and cherished friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
As a child, Alex’s boundless energy and curiosity were evident in his love for playing with toys and his much-loved French Bulldog Winston. During his adolescent years, he found joy in playing paintball and video games with his friends, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. His teenage years were marked by his dedication as a starting pitcher for the Leon High School baseball team, where his talent and commitment shone brightly on the field.
In adulthood, Alex found relaxation and camaraderie in playing golf and video games with friends with whom he also traveled. He expressed his creativity and love for music through his work on SoundCloud where he shared his compositions and connected with others who shared his musical interests. He was very kind, gentle, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, Elizabeth and Raymond Ralph Curci Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Maribeth and Rafael, and cherished grandparents, Raymond Ralph Curci Sr. and Mary Curci, and many loving extended family members. His memory lives on in his family and his dedicated friend group who have been a tight-knit circle since their middle school days.
