Patricia Ann Wright Leonetti

She was born in Escambia County, Florida on July 24, 1943.

Pat was trained as a hair dresser and worked in the industry for 18 years. She loved animals, traveling, and was a good cook. She was ill the last few years of her life which prevented her from fully enjoying the things she loved but she always made time to care for her great-grandchildren. She was proud of her family and never ended a conversation without saying “I love you.”

Visits with Granny always meant several, long good-byes, and her waiting at the door watching as the car pulled out of the driveway, even after it was difficult for her to stand. She was stubborn and independent and never wanted to be a burden. She would often deny her own needs. She passed away surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren. They sang hymns as she went to meet Jesus. She was known by many names; Pat, Patsy, Mama, Granny, Gigi and she will be greatly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leonetti; her father, Robert Mason Wright; her mother, Vera Virginia Quattlebaum; and five brothers, Robert Jr., Mickey, Ricky, Leon, and Dwight Wright.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy King (Jack) of Tallahassee and Angela Kaemmerer (Joe) of Pace. Pat was blessed with 12 grandchildren; Tabitha Peck (Tim), Rachel Messervy (Will), Sarah Lorenzo (Alfredo), Joshua King (Beth), Anna King, Denise Jordan (John), Charlotte Pace (Jeff), Jennifer Collette (Michael), Timothy Kaemmerer, Abigail Bogan (Doug), Bridgette Wright, and Bradley Leonetti, as well as, 14 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one brother, Michael Wright (Gloria), and one sister, Susie McElveen (Scooter), as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at 10:00am, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel - Memorial Park located at 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503. The family will receive friends prior to the services.
