Neal Harold Coulter went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. His is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pam, three daughters and their families, Mike and Stephanie Lollar with their sons Dylan and Ryan, John and Laura Braley with their sons Micah and Caleb, Phillip & Paige Martin, two sisters, Carol Hall and Peggy Rogerson, and his brother Jack Coulter.
He was born on September 22nd, 1950 in Auburn, Nebraska. At age 11, his family moved to Winter Haven, Florida. He met his wife, Pam, in high school English class, his least favorite subject, their senior year. They both attended Polk Community College, then the University of Florida. They married the year before Neal completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. They moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1977 when Neal took a job to work for Watkins Engineers and Construction. They are members of Thomasville Road Baptist Church where Neal served as a deacon, usher and door greeter. Some of his hobbies include Gator Football, woodworking, target shooting & firearm restoration, and Civil War & WWII history. He also enjoyed cats, riding and racing motorcycles, rock ‘n roll, ice cream, and telling Dad jokes at every opportunity, specifically puns and slapstick comedies.
His gentle demeanor, quirky spirit, and kindness will be missed but we rejoice knowing that he is in a new body with his Lord and Savior.
