He was well loved by his patients. His memberships include The American Psychiatrist Association, the Southern Medical Association and Killearn Country Club where he loved to play golf and tennis. He is also member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Vera; sisters Layla and Widad and brother Nabil.
Vera would like express her thanks to the many care givers that gave their time and love to her husband especially Fr. Foley, when he prayed for her husband’s illness. He asked the Lord to bring her husband back to the community. The Lord answered Father Foley’s prayer, not only did he come back to his community but also the Lord gave him strength to go all the way to his native land, Baghdad, Iraq. Also he survived almost six years after his illness was diagnosed, all the praise to God.
